Order and Shipping

The process of shipping orders will begin after payment confirmation of the respective order. Once the order is shipped, the customer will be notified via email with the assigned tracking number and a link that will allow tracking the order on the carrier's website. The shipping information may take up to 72 hours, starting from the receipt of the shipping confirmation, to be updated on the carrier's website without any responsibility being attributed to MAROCHINI. Delivery times vary depending on the delivery location, but generally, the order is picked up and delivered within 24 to 48 hours.

For the Azores and Madeira: Transit Time of 48/72h for Madeira and 72/96h for the Azores. For outside Portugal, the transit time of an order may generally vary between 2 and 7 days, although in some locations, such as the African continent, it may exceed 7 days.

All shipments to non-EU countries may be subject to customs duties, taxes, customs fees, etc., which are not included in the tariffs. Indicating an incorrect or incomplete delivery address may result in the order being returned to MAROCHINI and additional costs for the customer; for this reason, it is recommended that the customer always ensures that the delivery address provided when registering the order is indeed correct and complete.

 

Delivery

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact our Customer Support if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so we can evaluate the issue and correct it as quickly and efficiently as possible.

When purchasing printed fabric products, be aware that the pattern placement will vary from product to product and will not exactly match what you saw on our online store, although the fabric pattern will be the same as the one you viewed.

MAROCHINI has made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors, textures, finishes, and images of the products sold on the Site. However, it is not possible to guarantee that any color display on the computer monitor will be accurate.

We do not make alterations unless a manufacturing defect is confirmed.

For shipments to private addresses, in case of the recipient's absence, a notice will be left to arrange a second and final delivery.

Claims for damages and losses by the carrier must be made within 24 hours of delivery and in writing. After this period, the insurer will reject the claim.

 

Exchanges

All purchases made on the online store www.marochinichantier.com are subject to Portuguese law. When ordering a MAROCHINI item, you have 30 days to exchange the ordered item(s), provided the item is delivered in perfect condition, as received, and accompanied by the respective invoice, fabric and paper tags, packaging, and any other elements that are part of the shipment. We accept returns of items up to 15 days after receiving the email confirming the delivery of the piece.

Upon receiving the items, MAROCHINI reserves the right to deny the exchange if the item does not meet the requirements of the policy stated above.

MAROCHINI does not accept exchanges/returns of gift bags or personalized items.

We do not accept exchanges/returns of altered, washed, used, odorous, or otherwise damaged items due to misuse. MAROCHINI is not responsible for the misuse of its items or the incorrect washing of them.

If you wish to make an exchange, please contact our Customer Support to formalize your exchange and ensure, subject to stock availability, the reservation of your new item.

 

Return

The customer must bear all direct costs associated with the return of the products. Only the price of the product will be credited. The customer is fully responsible for all shipping expenses.

If any of the products are returned with apparent damage or if the return package is lost, we reserve the right to charge the customer for the return or not to refund any amount.

Some of our items, due to their special characteristics, must meet the following conditions to be returned:

  • Swimwear: must include the hygiene sticker.
  • Items that include a pouch must be returned with it.

We advise that items be sent by carrier or registered mail.

If you wish to proceed with the return, please contact our Customer Support through the contact form on our online store with the following information:

  • Full name
  • Order number
  • Reference and size of the item you wish to exchange or return
  • Reference and size of the item you wish to receive
  • Mobile phone number
  • Address where you want to receive your new item (in case of exchange)
  • Send your item along with the invoice or order number to the address provided by our customer support.

 

Refund

We will notify you once we have received and inspected your return. If approved, you will be automatically refunded via the original payment method; otherwise, we will contact you. Remember that it may take some time for your bank to process the refund. For returns, there is a period of 10 business days until the refund is processed.
